GAPS Thanksgiving
This year we are hosting most of my siblings for a GAPS Thanksgiving. Based on past experience, the house will be a cacophony of 9 kids, 1 cat & 3 dogs.
To my dear neighbors, consider this advance warning.
Growing up, Thanksgiving traditions were somewhat optional in my family. We never did the same thing twice, but Thanksgiving was likely to be spent with someone who didn’t have family, or with friends we really cared about and enjoyed.
Now that the Christners have permanently settled in Vermont (dubbed the vacation spot by some family members) we are happy to have a houseful…as well as feed them a GAPS Thanksgiving feast. My siblings are usually game for our eating adventures, which makes it doubly enjoyable. Here is a list of choices I made, including GAPS appetizers, beverages, main dish, stuffing, side dishes, salads, soups, rolls/muffins, sauces/dips, desserts, and even leftovers:

what an amazing line-up of food! You must have been cooking for days to get ready for this one. Have printed some of your ideas. Thanks.
This is a great compilation of fall recipes from some wonderful cooks! The butter biscuits sound delicious with some of your roasted garlic soup–I might be making those for dinner tonight pre-thanksgiving! 🙂
Excellent, Amy! I’m glad you found the list helpful 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving!
