Looking for ways to feed meat stock to your much-loved picky eater? Enter Jello! This recipe is better if you use a meat stock made without onions or pepper. If lemon juice and gelatin are tolerated, this is legal from Stage 1!
Ingredients
1 2/3 cup meat stock
1/2 cup + 2 Tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice
4–5 Tbs honey
3 Tbs powdered gelatin
Instructions
Heat meat stock until warm. Stir gelatin and honey in warm stock until beginning to dissolve. Blend the meat stock mixture with the honey and lemon juice in the blender until frothy. Pour into ramekins and let set in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours until set.
Makes 5-6 ramekins depending on size.
Notes
This recipe is also good with freshly squeezed orange juice (full GAPS). With orange juice less honey is needed.
