If you are doing GAPS, you may be wondering how to do something extra special food-wise, like a GAPS Christmas Party. Perhaps you want to plan a special family dinner, or maybe something bigger like a holiday party with friends.

When I was growing up, our family tradition was to make the most of the nighttime magic of Christmas Eve. We set the table with our best dishes, silverware, and candles. We had sparkling juice in wine glasses, and an entire dinner of fancy hors d’oeuvre to eat before we dove into unwrapping presents by the fireplace. Dressing up was often part of the experience.

As an adult, I still love the magic of the nighttime in winter, with lights and good food.

In the spirit of my childhood Christmas Eves, I put together a special recipe round-up of appetizers and hors d’oeuvres so that you can create a special GAPS holiday dinner or party, regardless of when/what/how you celebrate.

Enjoy this GAPS Christmas Party menu. All recipes are grain-free, gluten-free, and Full GAPS Diet-friendly.
